The Division of Student Affairs is combining increased efficiencies with on-site generation of clean, renewable energy to allow student funded buildings to reach LEED Platinum status and achieve “zero net energy.” The ensuing savings in utility costs can then be recaptured to fund additional sustainability projects and help offset cuts to services for students. Come learn more about the “Zero Net Energy” Project, including current efforts and future plans, and see how our own Student Resource Building is part of the effort.
